
Anthony Brodie

Born on February 17, 1955, Pastor Anthony Brodie was raised in the Acres Homes Community of Houston, Texas. He began his spiritual journey as a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. N. L. Lewis. In July 1988, he accepted his call to ministry and began serving as an associate minister at New Jerusalem Ministries under Apostle L. C. Rodgers. He later served under the watchcare of the late Pastor Hermann Sampson Sr. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
Since 2009, Pastor Brodie has faithfully served in the pastoral ministry at St. Mark’s Ministries, continuing his commitment to shepherding God’s people with integrity and compassion. Deeply rooted in the Acres Homes Community where he was raised and educated, Pastor Brodie remains dedicated to the spiritual growth and restoration of his community.
He has been married to his beloved wife, Melissa Brodie, for over 20 years. Together, they are the proud parents of Ashley Moore and John Brodie, and doting grandparents to Aria Moore.
Pastor Brodie is known for his practical, insightful, and dynamic teaching style. As an effective communicator of God’s Word, he helps people apply biblical truths to their everyday lives. He operates in the spiritual gift of the Word of Knowledge and has a powerful ministry of restoration—offering healing, hope, and wholeness to all who encounter his ministry.
In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, Pastor Brodie is a licensed Christian Counselor, providing compassionate and faith-based guidance to individuals and families in need.

Born on October 27, 1965, Melissa Brodie is a devoted woman of faith, purpose, and quiet strength. As the wife of Pastor Anthony Brodie, she stands as a spiritual pillar in both her family and the St. Mark’s Ministries community—walking boldly in her calling with a heart anchored in Christ.
Melissa is especially passionate about youth and women’s ministry. She brings excellence, creativity, and vision to every role she serves. She faithfully contributes as a member of the church’s Advisory Board, leads with dedication as the head of Children’s Church, and is the visionary founder of both the Mother’s Day Conference and the Annual Women’s Conference—transformative gatherings that create space for healing, growth, and spiritual empowerment.
She is a proud mother to John and Ashley, and a joyful grandmother to Aria. Her life and ministry reflect the power of Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
